Now politicians are finally talking about “Medicare for All,” but SOME politicians are weakening the concept by pretending that a “public option” would suffice, or by protecting the health insurance companies’ role in the system.
Obama’s Affordable Care Act still left many millions of people with NO health care, and the ACA gave MORE POWER AND CONTROL to insurance companies. The ACA also PROHIBITED the government from negotiating with Big Pharma for lower prices.
Now is a good time to understand what REAL “Medicare for All” would be. It is UNIVERSAL SINGLE-PAYER!
