Richard Glossip is an innocent man on Oklahoma’s death row inmate. We need to prove his innocence before he is executed.
Richard’s legal team has been hard at work uncovering new evidence that casts serious doubt on his conviction.
Richard’s execution date could be scheduled any day now. To save Richard, we need your help again.
Executing Richard Glossip in the face of this new evidence is unjust and immoral. Glossip’s attorneys ask that a fully independent investigation be conducted, and a report issued, before any execution date is set. Otherwise, Oklahoma risks killing a man for a crime he did not commit.
With your help, there’s real hope for Richard. Please sign our petition today.
Rodney Reed is an innocent Black man on Texas’ death row. We are still working to prove his innocence and achieve his release.
His legal team is working hard in the summer of 2021. Rodney’s legal team made the case that he deserves a new trial — not only because new evidence has been discovered, but also because prosecutors withheld evidence and experts gave misleading testimony in the original trial more than 20 years ago.
There’s been a lot going on, and we want to make sure you don’t miss anything. So if you haven’t already, take a moment to add your name to get breaking news updates about Rodney’s case or text FREERODNEY to 52886.
In 1998, Rodney Reed, a Black man, was convicted of the 1996 murder of Stacey Stites, a white woman in Bastrop, Texas. For more than 20 years, Rodney has maintained his innocence. He says that he and Stacey were having a consensual relationship, which explains the presence of his DNA.
We’re going to keep fighting until we get justice for Rodney and his family.
Tell Texas to stop the September 9, 2021, execution of John Ramirez.
I signed a petition on Action Network telling Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles & Governor Greg Abbott to Stop the Execution of John Ramirez in Texas.
John Ramirez is scheduled for execution in Texas on September 9th for the 2004 murder of Pablo Castro.
Texas’ aggressive execution schedule marks it as an outlier in its use of the death penalty while the majority of other states are on a downward trend of executions. In 2019, Texas accounted for 9 of the nation’s 22 executions, and in 2020 is expected to account for half of all executions, if not more.
Please sign the petition asking Governor Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to do everything within their power to stop this execution, including issuing a stay, and seeking a path to clemency in the case.
Petitions will be delivered on your behalf at 12:00 pm noon Central Time on Friday, September 4th.
