FACT SHEET: No National Security without Climate Security Environmentalists know that EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED.  This is true about public policy issues too. Most of the federal spending for nuclear weapons is in the Dept. of ENERGY budget, not in the Dept. of “Defense.” I don’t know how much of the spending for space weapons is in the budgets of the various agencies.
