Ukraine: While U.S. politicians, media and NATO push for war, people need to understand this context

Regarding the current Ukraine crisis, nearly all U.S. politicians and news media are aggressively promoting the narrowly nationalistic U.S.-centric foreign policy grounded in arrogance and hubris that refuses to understand other nations’ needs and concerns and refuses to understand the context in which the crisis emerged.

The U.S. has done this over and over again in recent decades.  This led to disastrous wars in Vietnam, Central America, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and other countries.  Now our politicians and mainstream media are pushing the U.S. into war with Russia.  This could end in a nuclear war that kills billions of people and destroys human civilization.

The American people have been denied our right to know and understand the truth about the Ukraine crisis.

This 25-minute video interview about the Ukraine crisis is powerfully informative.  It raises and explains issues that the U.S. government has been horribly screwing up – and mainstream media are totally ignoring.  I strongly encourage you to watch this:  https://rumble.com/v112m7p-crosstalk-heading-toward-war.html

Also I highly recommend the video and article at this link:  https://theintercept.com/2022/04/14/russia-ukraine-noam-chomsky-jeremy-scahill/  This is titled, “Noam Chomsky and Jeremy Scahill on the Russia-Ukraine War, the Media, Propaganda, and Accountability.”  I read the article and found it informative and powerful.

The U.S. government and mainstream media have been horribly negligent in doing stupid, cruel things related to Ukraine.  I very highly recommend BOTH of the links above.  We must understand what’s really going on.  The U.S. government and media are pushing us into a war with Russia – and very likely a nuclear war.
