Trump has appointed a GIGANTIC NUMBER of federal judges. Already he has appointed more than 150 judges to the bench. A Trump appointee now holds one in four seats on federal courts of appeals.
The Senate’s top Democrat, Chuck Schumer, has supported the top Republican, Mitch McConnell, in FAST-TRACKING Trump’s nominees with very little oversight by Senate, despite the Senate’s constitutional responsibility to seriously consider those nominees.
Trumpism will PERSIST FOR DECADES throughout the federal judiciary because Trump has nominated people who are terribly unsuited to be federal judges and who are YOUNG and will hold federal judge positions for many decades into the future.
The American Bar Association has rated some of Trump’s nominees “NOT QUALIFIED.” Nearly all of them were proposed by a right-wing organization, and all of them are RIGHT-WING EXTREMISTS with horrible biases.

She has an extreme bias and long track record of opposing women’s reproductive rights. On November 4, 2019, the Senate confirmed 51-41 Steven Menashi to be a United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He did legal work for Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, including some of her most cruel and corrupt work that hurts students and promotes fraud. He has also done legal work that has seriously hurt immigrants in a number of cruel ways. He refused to answer senators’ questions about his work to hurt immigrants. He has a long history of racist statements and behaviors, and he is widely seen as a white nationalist. Senator Dick Durbin (D) stated: “He has never tried a case. He has never argued an appeal, nor has he made any oral arguments in court. He has never conducted a deposition. He has zero experience handling criminal cases. He could not even name a single time when he observed a criminal trial.”
