Examples of Trump’s deliberate cruelty to immigrants and refugees

Bullies pick on people who are smaller and weaker.  Bullies choose victims who are vulnerable.
Deep-down, bullies know they are personally inadequate, so they victimize vulnerable people in order so they themselves can feel dominant and cover up their own feelings of inadequacy.
Trump is horribly incompetent.  He was a rich spoiled brat who became a rich spoiled adult.  He keeps going bankrupt.  He is — to use the term that he likes to apply to his adversaries — a “LOSER.”
He gained political power by tapping into the racism and xenophobia of white people who feel powerless (because they have been screwed by our society’s political and economic elites), so these white people need to hurt vulnerable people so they will feel better than their victims.
Trump’s victims are racial and ethnic minorities, immigrants, refugees, women, LGBTQ people, poor people, and others who could be exploited by a bully such as himself.

Trump’s deliberate cruelty to immigrants and refugees:

Trump gave stupid orders to stop immigrants and shouted: “You’re making me look like an idiot!”  This item came from a reliable source that I’ve been reading for nearly two years::

In March 2019 Trump ordered advisers to price out the cost of fortifying his border wall with a water-filled trench stocked with snakes or alligators, and electrified with spikes on top that could pierce human flesh. During the Oval Office meeting, Trump also suggested that they shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down. He was advised that that was illegal. Trump then ordered advisers to shut down the entire 2,000-mile border with Mexico by noon the next day. “You are making me look like an idiot!” Trump shouted at officials in the room.

Trump’s “Big Government” abuses immigrants and the constitutional right to privacy.  His Justice Department wants to treat all migrants like criminals.

I remember when Republicans used to complain about “Big Government.”  Now Trump and Republicans are escalating their “Big Government” abuses!

The non-profit organization Voto Latino (www.votolatino.org) reported this in late October 2019:

“The U.S. Justice Department has announced a plan to collect DNA from hundreds of thousands of migrants crossing the border.  Their plan? To create a massive DNA database that they’ll then use to try and identify potential criminals. That has Big Brother and surveillance state written all over it.  No one, including immigrants, should be subjected to DNA collection against their will.

“Under this plan, the genetic information of hundreds of thousands of immigrants — who have not been accused of or charged with anything — would be sent to the same database that contains DNA samples collected from people who’ve been arrested or convicted of crimes.  Basically, the Justice Department is trying to treat ALL immigrants as criminals, and that’s just wrong.”

Immigrant kids who survive Trump’s imprisonment suffer lasting psychological damage, including post-traumatic stress and inconsolable crying.

A watchdog has detailed the damage inflicted on separated kids.  See this:  https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/9/4/1883348/-Post-traumatic-stress-inconsolable-crying-watchdog-details-damage-inflicted-on-separated-kids?detail=emaildkre

Decades ago in Germany, Dr. Mengele separated family members from each other at a Nazi concentration camp.

One of Hitler’s highest-ranking officials worked at a Nazi concentration camp. Many thousands of Jews and other undesirable people arrived, and Mengele broke families apart. He sent some family members to suffer in the camp, and he sent other members of the same families to die in the ovens.

Now Trump has targeted another ethnic group for systematic cruelty. Trump is deliberately breaking Latino immigrant families apart, imprisoning children and their parents in different concentration camps, and is denying them due process.

America must protect humane values and vigorously reject Trump’s extreme cruelty.

Pediatricians confirm the U.S. government’s child abuse at our southern border.  Here are two excerpts  from the article I’ve linked below:

Dr. Colleen Kraft, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, described on CNN what she witnessed when touring one of the camps:  “I can’t describe to you the room I was in with the toddlers. Normally toddlers are rambunctious and running around. We had one child just screaming and crying, and the others were really silent. And this is not normal activity or brain development with these children.”

And this:  Kraft asserted what the Trump administration is perpetrating upon these children is tantamount to “government-sanctioned child abuse.”
