Brett Kavanaugh Once Argued That a Sitting President Is Above the Law

Trump is being investigated for a number of crimes, including felonies and other impeachable offenses. Trump is causing a constitutional crisis. Very likely the Trump mess will end up in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has become a very highly partisan tool of the Republican Party. (In 2000 it stopped the ballot counting in Florida and appointed George W. Bush president. It has seriously weakened the Voting Rights Act in order to allow racist schemes that allow Republican-dominated state governments to seriously weaken the right to vote among racial minorities and poor people. It has allowed Republican-dominated states to gerrymander voting districts in order to benefit themselves and disempower Democrats. It has been allowing Big Money to dominate election campaigns. The list goes on and on.)

Now Trump is appointing a Supreme Court Justice who will rule – certainly in Trump’s favor – when the Trump mess goes to the Supreme Court. American constitutional government is in extreme danger. Trump is pushing our nation over the edge.

Brett Kavanaugh Once Argued That a Sitting President Is Above the Law.  That should disqualify him from serving on the Supreme Court!
And that should be disqualifying.

Many progressive news sources and non-profit organizations are producing information about this EXTREME DANGER TO OUR NATION’S WELL-BEING.  Kavanaugh would be horrible for human rights, women’s rights, workers’ rights, the environment, honest democracy, and many other vital needs.  I urge you to read at least some of the information available now — and take bold actions!
