Nuclear weapons could easily destroy the world. All it takes is one reckless person whose finger is on the button — or one computer error — or one misunderstanding or miscalculation — and we’d all be dead.
The status quo is NOT smart and is NOT sustainable. We need smart thinking about nuclear weapons.
