Support H. Res. 77 to support Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons

Most nations in the world want nations to ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).  See www.icanw.org for more information about the Treaty.

The U.S. and the other 8 nations that own nuclear weapons oppose the TPNW.  We have an uphill struggle to promote it.  Fortunately, three dozen House members have introduced H. Res. 77 to support the Treaty.  Here is some information.

Please write to your U.S. House Representative and urge them to take the necessary step and co-sponsor H. Res 77!

A smart organization is working on the “Back from the Brink” package of 5 policy changes that would significantly reduce the likelihood of nuclear war.  That organization is supporting H. Res. 77 too.  See information about “Back from the Brink” here:  www.preventnuclearwar.org

Here is some information — including “talking points” that might convince U.S. representatives to sign on:   https://preventnuclearwar.org/h-res-77-resources/?emci=2a2fe273-ce30-ee11-b8f0-00224832eb73&emdi=80b36840-2b32-ee11-b8f0-00224832e1ba&ceid=13714631#cosponsors
