Nonviolence is MORE POWERFUL than war. Nonviolence WORKS BETTER than war.

I wrote this a few years ago.  If you have not yet read it, it will give you some insights into why nonviolence is not only ethical, but also is PRACTICAL and POWERFUL.  A Solid Case for Nonviolence as Ethical, Practical and Powerful

Workshop #1 in my 6-part series about Nonviolent Grassroots Organizing uses some of the information in the resource I linked above, plus a lot more.  I offer the series of 6 workshops several times each year.  The next series runs on Tuesdays from June 14 through July 19, 2021.  See information about the series at this blog post:  https://parallaxperspectives.org/sign-up-now-for-free-practical-online-workshops-to-help-you-make-more-progress-on-issues-you-care-about-2

Now here is a bold proposal:  We would have BETTER NATIONAL SECURITY if we replaced the Pentagon with NONVIOLENT NATIONAL DEFENSE.  This would require training and planning, but it would SAVE HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EVERY YEAR, so we could afford to end poverty, provide high quality housing and high quality health care for everyone in the nation, clean up all of our environmental problems, convert to a truly “green” economy, and much more.  I wrote this to make a solid case for NONVIOLENT NATIONAL DEFENSE:  Nonviolent National Defense Would Be Better in Every Way
