Impeachable offense: Trump kidnaps children and imprisons families without due process.

U.S. law and international law recognize the rights of refugees and persons seeking asylum, but Trump deliberately violates those laws.

Trump continues to COMMIT CRIMES that are IMPEACHABLE OFFENSES, but Congress does not seem to care.

Separating little children from their families is yet one more kind of child abuse that Trump is committing.  The Trump regime has lost track of many, many of the children that he has kidnapped.

Kidnapping anyone is a federal felony.  So is transporting kidnapped victims across state lines.  It is a felony to unlawfully imprison someone.

Trump is denying people their constitutional right to due process.  He even makes young children represent themselves in court WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY (even though the law requires legal representation), EVEN IF THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH.

Federal courts keep ruling against Trump.

CONGRESS IS UTTERLY FAILING TO FULFILL ITS CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY TO IMPEACH THIS SERIAL LAWBREAKER.
Trump keeps violating the U.S. Constitution — and so also do U.S. House members of BOTH political parties.
U.S. news media almost always avoid mentioning Trump’s impeachable offenses.

ORDINARY PEOPLE MUST NONVIOLENTLY PROTEST TRUMP’S CRIMES, DEMAND HIS IMPEACHMENT, AND REACH OUT TO BUILD A STRONG GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT TO RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION, THE RULE OF LAW, AND HUMAN RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE.

A great advocacy organization, www.RootsAction.org, says this:

Impeachment awaits not more evidence, investigations, hearings, or elections, but popular and political will.

It’s hard to keep up with Trump’s impeachable offenses, but we have a duty to keep recognizing them and demanding accountability until we tip the balance. Here’s the latest.

Trump has overseen the work of his subordinates who have forcibly separated thousands of refugee children and infants from their families, imprisoned them in inhumane conditions including on military bases and in the private facilities of military contractors, denied access to these sites sought by members of Congress, failed to meet or even to plausibly attempt to meet a court-imposed deadline to reunite children with their families, and defended these policies with hate-inspiring rhetoric almost certainly resulting in additional violence and cruelty.

Trump has lawlessly engaged in an explicit effort to punish and deter people who in many cases stand accused of no legal violations themselves, and in other cases are accused of a misdemeanor. In doing so he has violated the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to which the United States is party, the Convention on the Rights of the Child to which every other nation on earth is party, the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and the Due Process clause of the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The U.S. Supreme Court has maintained that “the interest of parents in the care, custody, and control of their children is perhaps the oldest of the fundamental liberty interests recognized by [the] Court.”

President Trump’s subsequent Executive Order stating that families would be imprisoned as groups failed to bring him into compliance with international law or the Constitution.

Enough is enough. This is doable, but not without your help.
