The Poor People’s Campaign is excellent at the national level and our statewide level.
More and more non-profit organizations that work on important issues (peace, climate, human rights, economic justice, etc.) are aligning themselves with the Poor People’s Campaign. Some organizations are formally deciding to become “Mobilizing Partners.” Our Olympia Coalition to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, our statewide anti-nuclear coalition, 350 Seattle, several parts of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, and many, many other organizations are doing this. This is a good way to work for economic justice, racial justice, and a range of issues.
