URGENT: Phone Heck, Murray, Cantwell to prevent attack on North Korea

The leaders of North and South Korea want peace!  They will hold an historic summit this Friday April 27 that should lead to further steps toward peace and reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula.

But Trump wants war instead.  He has been hiring notorious war-hawks to advise him and run federal agencies.

Only a few U.S. Congress members are vigorously promoting diplomacy instead of war.  They have introduced the “No Unconstitutional Strike against North Korea Act.”  The Senate bill (S. 2016) has only 3 co-sponsors, and the House bill (H.R. 4837) has 69 co-sponsors.

We must phone U.S. Representative Denny Heck to urge him to co-sponsor H.R. 4837.

We must phone U.S. Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell to urge them to co-sponsor S. 2016.

Phone Denny Heck:  (360) 459-8514 in Lacey or (202) 225-9740 in Washington DC.

Phone Patty Murray:  (206) 553-5545 in Seattle, (202) 224-2621 in Washington DC, or TOLL-FREE 866-481-9186

Phone Maria Cantwell:  (206) 220-6400 in Seattle, (202) 224-3441 in Washington DC

If you live elsewhere, contact your U.S. representative and senators through the Congressional switchboard number (202) 224-3121.

Tell them to:

● Speak out for diplomacy. Take war off the table.

● Co-sponsor the No Unconstitutional Strike Against North Korea Act of 2017 which would prevent the president from launching a pre-emptive attack on North Korea.
