Pope Francis OPPOSES the death penalty in ALL cases.

Although the Roman Catholic Church has staked out positions that is says are “pro-life,” the Church has allowed the death penalty in a very few cases, although the Church has opposed the death penalty in general.

Just recently Pope Francis came out STRONGLY AGAINST the death penalty in ALL cases.  This is big news from a pope who has been exercising his conscience very well on a number of issues.
