The American people are alarmed and outraged by gun violence. But they — and nearly all gun safety groups — OVERLOOK “THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM” that persistently REINFORCES AND PROMOTES gun violence. THE U.S. GOVERNMENT’S FOREIGN POLICY AND BUDGET AGGRESSIVELY PROMOTE SHOOTING (and bombing) in THE MISTAKEN ASSUMPTION THAT VIOLENCE SOLVES PROBLEMS.
