What bold, positive realities would you want for 4 years from now?

I am always encouraging people to envision and organize bold goals for a significantly better future.  Recently I posted to my blog this article inviting us to do that:  http://parallaxperspectives.org/lets-boldly-create-the-future-we-really-want-2

Now I invite you to take the next step.

Please read (or re-read) that blog post and send me your e-mail suggestions for this topic:

What bold, good reality would you want for four years from now — October 2023?

Instead of feeling constrained by the current conditions that are bogging our nation down and curtailing our imaginations, I invite you to BOLDLY AND CREATIVELY IMAGINE the future you really want to be our new reality four years from now.

EXAMPLES:

  • The U.S. has stopped all of 2019’s wars and 80% of the voting public is demanding that the U.S. stop bullying and threatening and hurting the rest of the world — militarily, economically, and in all other ways.
  • The U.S. has rejoined the Paris Climate Agreement, and the new President and the new Congress have pushed boldly ahead with a Green New Deal and have made huge, rapid progress toward meeting the goal of limiting our carbon pollution so the U.S. is likely to meet the 1.5 degree Celsius target.
  • The $15 federal minimum wage has been implemented already (without deferring an effective date for a future year), and it has been such a great success that Congress and the President have passed a $17 federal minimum wage.
  • Every public school teaches courses in nonviolent conflict resolution and trains students how to resolve conflicts nonviolently.

What bold, creative realities would YOU want to be in place four years from now, in October 2023?

Send your proposals to me at glenanderson@integra.net during October 2019, and I will list many of the best ones in a blog post in early November 2019.

Thanks!
